Type of mod: Car
Model: Porsche 911 GT2 997
Replaces: SKYLINE & TIBURON
Known bugs: The handling might be slightly odd. The Skyline-replacing version repalces the logo on all Nissans.
Car can be customized with:
-front bumpers (RS, racing version, RS racing version)
-rear bumpers (RS)
-side mirrors (CF, GT3 R, GT3 R CF)
-rear hood (racing version)
-rollcages (as roof scoops)
-RS bodykit (side intakes, bumpers, CF bonnet)
-headlights (GT3 R, GT3 RSR, SC, 997.2)
-brakelights (tinted, USDM, 997.2, SC)
-exhausts
-rims
-paint
-some other bits
Electronic Arts - Model, textures, some parts (Pro Street, Shift, HP2010, Shit 2: Unleashed, Real Racing 3)
Turn 10 - GT2 RS parts
Cyrax - ripping the FM4 GT2 RS model
nfsu360 - Mod Tools
How to install the mod:
1. Chose the car you want to replace (Skyline or Tiburon). The archives inside this one are mods that replace cars
they're named after.
1. Back up all original files!
2. Replace original textures and geometry with those from package. Just copy them to CARS/TIBURON or CARS/SKYLINE
folder.
3. Download NFS-TexEd-0.9.1 and replace textures #42 and #306 or #105 and #196 in FRONTEND/FrontB.lzc with ones
from package.
4. Install wheel position with NFS-CfgInstaller which you can find in Config folder.
5. Open the game and enjoy your Porsche!
Do not upload it on any other site without my permission. You can provide link, but not upload any part of this mod.
