Magic BNK Tool
Djey a member of the french TDU community, realsed a new mod, called Magic BNK. This is another milestone towards modding TDU successful. What the tool does is to disable the BNK size check from the TDU engine. The Benefit is that people can replace any BNK with any other, without worring about the byte size of the BNK's. This comes very handy for the upcoming and new cars, and opens the modders a another new door as they are no longer limited by the given BNK file sizes. The tool is tested out online and is fully save to use. I uploaded the File to our Tools & Files area. go get it while its hot.

TDU Import / Export Filter for ZMod2
On 31. of July, Oleg published a new Update for his ZMod2 Modeller Software. This Update includes the special ability to import and also to export 3d meshes to TDU. In other words, you are finally able to modify Meshes. Oleg suggests that this new filter is more or less only for advanced users that know what they are doing. For more detailed information about the Filter you may check the original thread about it from Oleg at: the ZModeler Forums

TDU Got two years old!
We from TDU ADDONS wish Test Drive Unlimited a happy second birthday. The Game was created on 11.07.2006 at a time of 18:32 or 19:32. You can prove these dates when you check the last modification date of the original Eden files from your TDU DVD! So happy 2nd Birthday TDU, hopefully many more years come!

NFS Undercover Car List

Some of you may have seen a "full car list" for NFS Undercover floating around. The reason I put that in quotes, is because EA has confirmed that car list as a fake.

But, don't worry... EA has put live two new microsites that will be slowly releasing the full car list and more information on a weekly basis.

The "Tri-City Car Lot" site, will be announcing 6 new cars. It will start off slowly with some cars that we already know about, but later on, they will announce new cars.

The other site, "Tri-City Gazette", will be a fictional newspaper which will feature news stories based on the world of Undercover, and also give some insight into the game.

So, Tri-city is the name of the nfsuc city? OMG! What an imaginative name!

Some cars from that city remind me to the cars of the other nfs cities. If we are lucky enough, we'll see the Rx-7 next to the Supra soon...

I hope the add the old school muscle cars like the 69 Dodge Charger RT, it really adds the to the variety of the game, and difficulty since a muscle car in general takes a lil more skill to compensate for their usually poor handling(compared to tuners and exotics).
