We don't usually cover non-NFS titles here, but in this particular case I thought I'd make an exception. Last Monday, Slightly Mad Studios, creators of NFS: Shift and Shift 2: Unleashed, announced another new game alongside their still-in-development Project CARS: World Of Speed, a free-to-play team-based MMO racing game for the PC, to be released later this year.
Compared to the more sim-like CARS, WOS is said to have a more accessible, arcade-like handling, and will take place both on existing circuits and in real-life cities like London, Moscow and Monaco.
Screenshots and more information can be found at World of Speed's official website.
