Fox's Nazca M12 is OK, I've always had it installed in my game, even if the wheels are a bit too small.

Now, Nils' Calà and Memphis' Scighera - absolutely perfect, two of the best cars available for the game, and not too heavy on polies either.  Both look like high-poly models with 3D wheels and everything, yet are still full-grid raceable.  Absolute must haves.

I love the Italdesign concepts, some of my favorite cars of all time.

I have asked about it before, I might be remembering wrong though, maybe it was in a dream lol.

I was really excited about the Le Mans mod but I never did get around to modeling anything for it.  Have you asked Rally Master?

By the way, do you have CPD's McLaren F1?  I can't seem to find it anywhere  :(

A long time ago (several years) I swear I saw a screenshot of a high-poly, very well modeled Vector W8 Twin Turbo for High Stakes.  It was NOT the low-poly one that comes with the expansion pack and it was NOT Venom's M12.

Does anyone know anything about that?

I just don't go on message boards as much as I used to.  When I was most active here, I was about 15 or 16, and had a lot of free time.  Now I'm 18, have a job, graduated high school, and am traveling a lot.  However, NFSAddons is still one of my favorite websites, ever, so I like to visit it several times per week.  I look at the SOTD and Facebook page everyday and just submitted some screenshots.  Just like High Stakes has a special place in my heart, so does NFSAddons.  I'll never be able to put it down, I'll never want to.

Also this website has far and away the best layout, aesthetics, and functionality of any NFS site.  It also has the best people and the most focus on High Stakes, which I really appreciate.

My suggestions:
I miss making my "favorite cars" list, can we bring that back?  And maybe favorite tracks, too?
Maybe all the screenshots we've submitted could show up on our profile, or something like each profile can have a gallery of screenshots?
Is there a way to embed YouTube videos in posts?

Thanks for this, AJ!  I've always loved vidwalls and showcases, just another reason classic NFS is the best.  Rafel showed me a long time ago the general rules, and now I know how to add the NFS4 tint.

High Stakes is not dying and will never die.  It's too special, too many people love it in a way the newer NFS games can not be loved.

I too would love to race an Alfa 8C, Ascari KZ1, and Bugatti Veyron SS on Route Adonf and such.

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: We need some more action in here!
« on: Jan 30, 2012, 8:04 PM »
Even though the forums here don't get many posts, I still come here at least once a week, which is much more often than I go to NFSCars.  NFSCars has become more like eDrama&MembersCars, with some attention paid to the modernized and in my opinion crappy post-HP2 NFS games.  Here, we've always been centered around NFS4, which is an automatic plus  :)  Plus the descriptions written by Remko, the SOTD and featured cars, the Additional Features tab for each add-on...this website is the best.  Plus, NFSA has a better selection of add-on cars and tracks despite being a much smaller website.  Quality over quantity.

A good way to get more activity here would be to invite some of the people still making add-ons for NFS4 (and yes, there has been a surge lately, very good to see) and tell them to upload their cars, check out the forums, make this their new preferred NFS site.

I'll submit some for you tomorrow, Mike.  I've been wanting to play High Stakes again, can't stay away from that game for even a couple of months.

Wow, I haven't posted here in more than 2 years.  Been playing NFS High Stakes occasionally since then, I just go through spurts of wanting to play that game.  This place is so much better than NFSCars in every aspect - better add-ons, better looking layout, less idiots, and that's just to name a few reasons

As for real life, better than ever for me

Off-Topic Discussion / Civilization Revolution or Race Pro?
« on: Mar 02, 2009, 5:59 PM »
Hey guys,

Haven't been in here in a while, kinda stopped playing NFS...I'm in a dilemma, I've about $40 to spend until my next pay (which I will use to buy MLB 2K9) and am trying to decide which of these games for the 360 to buy:

Race Pro

Sid Meier`s Civilization Revolution

I normally prefer strategy games for the computer and don't have any for the 360 but C R looks really interesting, especially if you get to develop a civilization from the ancient times to the space age...but on the other hand, I normally prefer racing games, and Race Pro does have a Gulf Aston DBR9 on the cover...:D

Which game is more fun to play and has a better campaign type mode?

TIA

Yesterday I wanted to do some car hunting, and about 20 miles of my house there are a bunch of exotic dealerships, and I saw some awesome cars including:

Maserati GranTurismo and GranSport
BMW E60 M5
At least 9 or 10 Gallardo's
LP640 Roadster
4 Gallardo Superleggera's
Verde Ithica LP640
Brand new LP560-4
SLR
4 Diablo's
Several Murcielago's
Ferrari SuperAmerica, 360 Spyder
Several Porsche GT3/GT3 RS
Ford GT
New Challenger
Couple Esprit's
Countach
2 997 Turbo's
2 Aston Martin Vantage's
AM DB7 GT
...and a BUGATTI VEYRON!!!!!

Sorry about the quality of some of the photos, I don't have the best camera nor the best camera skills, but I thought some of you guys might be interested so here goes :)

The Veyron is, without question, the most amazing thing I have ever seen!  Unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries when I was taking pictures of it and the extras I had brought were in my car which was parked a couple blocks away, and the Veyron was in the detailing center and I was given special permission to see it in the first place, sorry I couldn't get more pics of it.

Hope you guys like the pics!
